The PowderQuest Story

David Owen, the creator of PowderQuest, started the company's adventure in August 1998 while working from a log cabin in the icy Chilean town of Pucon. In 1999, PowderQuest was established as a business in the United States and led its initial expeditions in Patagonia. Since then, our professionally led experiences have been enjoyed by hundreds of enthusiastic skiers and snowboarders, including experts from top companies like Smith Optics and Dakine.

In response to the visitors' desire to experience the greatest snow in the globe, PowderQuest has extended its programs throughout the years, adding ski vacations to Japan in 2014 and, more recently, Canada and Norway.
